Baroque Strings:
Dublin

This Baroque string group is aimed at amateur and pre-professional string players playing to the equivalent of Grade 6 standard or higher, aged 18 and over.

This returning baroque string group is aimed at intermediate string players working to Grade 6 standard or higher, aged 18 and over. With participants playing on modern instruments with baroque bows, these sessions will provide a valuable insight into the style and technique of period playing. ​

Sessions take place at St Finian's Lutheran Church, Adelaide Road, Dublin from 7pm - 9pm and dates for Spring 2025 are:

March 3, 10, 24, 31 and April 7.

 

Repertoire: "Spring" from Vivaldi's Four Seasons (soloist Jeannette Bogado) and Sinfonia from 'La Senna Festeggiante'

Fees are €75 (€60 students) for the block of 5 sessions. Please not that we no longer have cello places available.
