'L'Olimpiade' is shortlisted in the 'Best New Opera' category

This prestigious recognition celebrates the orchestra’s collaboration with the Irish National Opera on the critically-acclaimed production of L'Olimpiade at the Royal Opera House, London.
This follows the success of Peter Whelan and the Irish Baroque Orchestra at the 2022 Olivier Awards, where the orchestra picked up the award for 'Outstanding Achievement in Opera' for work on INO's 'Bajazet'.
Aliye Cornish Moore, CEO of the Irish Baroque Orchestra, says:
"This nomination is a testament to the talent, dedication, and passion of our musicians and creative partners at Irish National Opera. It is a proud moment for us to see this important partnership celebrated on such a prestigious platform."
The Olivier Awards, regarded as the pinnacle of theatre and opera accolades, celebrate outstanding achievements in the performing arts. The 2025 Olivier Awards ceremony will take place on April 6th at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
